i'm so lucky

i have two of the best cousins ever, and i'm lucky to be squeezed {in age} in the middle of both!

leah is my little cousin by a year. we have so much fun together! mommy didn't edit this video so that danny samchoon could enjoy it in its entirety.

abby is my older cousin by a little less than two years. i love copying everything she does. she likes to take care of me, like a big sister should. i was so happy to see her on sunday.

january story

i went to barnes and nobles today.

they finally put in a train table at the new one by my house.  i was having a lot of fun playing with a 4 year-old boy.

mommy said we had to go.  so i looked at the boy {who was standing two feet away from me} waved at him and said, "bye boy!"

he looked back and me, lifted his hand and simply said, "bye."

so i waved and said it again {really loudly mind you}, "bye boy!"

he stared at me with a look of wonder and said it again, "bye."

yes, i said it again, "BYE BOY!"

still only feet away from me, he stared at me wide-eyed and said, "bye."

finally, i start walking away {backwards so i can still see him} still waving i said, "HAVE A NICE DAY BOY!"

we were almost out of earshot when i heard him respond, "have a nice day too!"

i love making new friends that are around my height.  today, i met a 4 year-old girl name chloe, and made sure to say, "MY FRIEND!  CHLOE!" and i gave her a big hug.
saying, "MY appah (daddy in korean) and MY mommy"

when the two combine, it's difficult to be successful at the drawing part. 

back in early december, i was drawing snow for my mommy.  when i noticed that she was video-taping me, i had her record me with the screen facing towards me so that i could see what she was recording.  it was hard to focus on my drawing.  mommy thinks it's really funny.

well, i was sick again.

my family went on a day trip to WL to celebrate my grandpa's 60th.  i ended up throwing up big time about an hour or so into our drive.  mommy and daddy thought i was okay, so we kept going.  i ended up throwing up two more times.  :( 

it was very disgusting.

then in WL, i wanted to play.  but i didn't feel like it.  i just wanted to stay in mommy's arms.  i threw up two more times.

we went home early.

i didn't throw up after that. 

now i have diarrhea.  yuck.

then, wednesday, mommy caught my bug.  it was horrible seeing her immobile like me.  daddy stayed home to take care of the both of us.  he's such a good daddy. 

right now, i'm about 90% back to full health.  i can't wait to hit 100%, then i can eat everything i want again.  eating bland food is so boring. 

i'm a big girl in a big girl bed

mommy and daddy bought me a big girl bed.  i was so excited to sleep in it, but they didn't put it together until last night. 

i LOVE sleeping in my new bed.  i have so much more space!  i went right to sleep...and woke up the next morning like i always do.  i played in my bed until mommy came to get me. 

this morning i said, "appah, appah, where are you?  umah, umah, where are you?" 

my mommy and daddy are so proud of me.  :)

here is a video mommy took of leah and me with our little point and shoot camera.

leah is going to be a cute fifties girl for halloween.  i couldn't resist the poodle skirt and had to break it in for her.  also, leah learned how to climb the stairs while we were there, look!  she wanted to show me that she could do it on her own.  this is her first time climbing up, caught on camera!  she's so smart.
