a tool to help mommies

through my 15 months of experience, i have gained a lot of tips to help mommies of kiddos like my own.

here is one for the kitchen:

a pizza cutter.

now that dillan is eating any and almost every solid...this handy tool makes cutting big pieces into small bite size pieces, a snap.

kitchen shears are great, but i found that my hand would start to cramp from constantly shredding the bowl of (name your food here). 

with the pizza cutter, if the food is soft enough, i just run it through and through, criss cross, back and forth...and wah lah easy to eat toddler food.

i suggest the smaller pizza cutters...mine was only $2-$3 from target.  completely worth it.

homespun goods

i have been on a quest for the perfect bib.  something to keep my baby clean, will catch her spills (including soup), is portable, and easy to clean.

i think i may have found it...introducing the homespun goods bib.

it is made of oilcloth, which makes it easy to clean...no more washer!  and there are buttons for the lip on the bottom that make it easy to transport and clean.  i have used it for a few days now, and love it.  check out the sale section for the bib at half the cost.

i tried the baby bjorn softbib once.

didn't love it like i thought i would.  plus, it's near impossible to find nowadays.
