i have to ask, how many of you actually iron your bed linens?
today, i switched my duvet from the winter color to crisp white...and decided to iron it. while i was at it, i ironed my shams, pillow cases, and the top portion (visible portion) of my flat sheet. my bed looks phenomenal.
i am the type of person who is incredibly neurotic about their bed being set before i sleep. the flat sheet needs to be tucked under the mattress...and i refuse to feel any wrinkles, everything needs to be taut for me to feel completely comfortable. i have tried to just go to bed with the blankets tousled about, but just ask my husband. as tired as i was, i will get up out of bed, and straighten the sheets, and fall back to bed with contentment.
but i don't iron my sheets on a regular basis, frankly, on any basis but today.
so, while i was ironing them, i was thinking to myself...i wonder who does this every time they change their sheets. the only person i though that might was my sister-in-law, inhee. super clean woman of the universe. ;)
so, do you iron your sheets?
are you kidding me?! though i've attempted to iron our duvet cover a few times (whew - so exhausting!), i have never in my life ever attempted to iron my sheets or anything else that goes on our bed. haha. i was actually just thinking that i would try steaming our duvet next time (my mom just bought this awesome, very professional-looking steamer, and i love it). yes, i'm a clean-freak... and now, so is abby (poor ed). haha. by any chance, did rachel ray's show about linens earlier this week inspire you to iron everything on your bed? :b
does dillan like max & ruby? i called you yesterday when i put in a dvd for abby. i still have to send out thank you notes!! oh, and i posted new pics on flickr today. :)

We have some customers at the store that get their sheets pressed twice a week. They said once you go ironed/pressed, it's hard to go back. That plus they have a lot of money to spend on getting their sheets pressed I guess. =)

whoa, girl, I never iron, certainly not bedsheets! My hubby taught me a trick, too. If you have a shirt or pair of pants that are wrinkly, throw them in the dryer for a few minutes, and they're good to go! heh heh. (But I guess it must show, I don't mind wearing wrinkly clothes, either). In college, I used to sleep so still, that I could just climb in and out of bed with just peeling back the corner of the covers. Then I wouldn't really have to make the entire bed! =P
