with the snow and the cold, we were forced to stay indoors.
our heat went out...
God provided in two funny ways today...
1. called the service people to get someone to check our furnace (despite my efforts to fix it) and they already had a service person here to check on another unit! he came to replace our broken ignition piece (a part he had on hand) within a few hours.
2. just in case the heat wouldn't come back, i asked if sharon would stop by target (or the like) to pick up a portable heater for us. when she received my voicemail, she just happened to be in target at the time! coincidence? i think not.
like christine, i decided to pass the time taking photographs of my baby girl. while i was at it, i created a scrapbook page to go along with my new year's resolution.
dillan loves strawberries...
*tip for moms*
frozen
fruit is a great alternative when fresh is not around. i have read and
heard that it's the next best thing to really fresh fruit bc they
freeze it when the fruit is it's freshest. same thing with veggies. i
take the amount i'll serve. rinse it in a bowl of water a few
times...then defrost (fruit) or heat (veggies) it for about 10+
seconds. it's a great finger food and a great way to get in their
servings of fruits and veggies.
